Discover the works of our latest Artist in Residence Trish Verdouw; a Tasmanian-based contemporary artist who uses the process of walking and drawing to become part of ‘place’.

Trish conveys both the macrocosm and microcosm of Pipe Clay Lagoon on the South Arm Peninsula by using charcoal, ink and liquid graphite as her medium. The repetition of line and form are key factors in her works - evoking rhythm and movement, accentuating patterns and incorporating the intertwining line of her walk with all inhabitants that live on the tidal line.

Being immersed and connected to place is important, as Trish interprets her observations through her latest works.
